On Saturday, October 19, over 1,700 volunteers hit the beaches to participate in Clean Ocean Action’s 28th Annual Fall Beach Sweeps at 57 sites along the Jersey Shore. Volunteers collected, tallied, and removed harmful and unsightly debris from New Jersey’s coastline, one year after Sandy.
